Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on the 20th of July, 2021, as Space and Defense Correspondent. In her role as Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she's responsible to cover everything ranging from NASA and the newly formed Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the advent and growth in space travel. Being the daughter of two NASA astronauts Kristin has a background in the space industry and spent the last five years reporting on the Biden and Trump Space Policy of the Administration as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. Also, she covered the presidential election in 2020 and the efforts of two administrations to fight the coronavirus. Kristin travelled frequently, and both with the president and vice-president. She even went on a top-secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump. Before joining the network in the year 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing in local TV news stations which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she received one Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin started Field Mouse Films with her expertise behind the camera in the year 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in making documentaries for corporate clients, including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelors of Science in Journalism from Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C., with her family, including their daughter, who is three years old.
